In Autumn Term, half term breaks are normally taken by most students, although tuition can be arranged for those taking November examinations. Students are advised against taking a Spring half term and are not expected to take a half term in the Summer Term if they are due to take examinations at that time. Any requests for arrangements to the contrary must be made in writing to the student's supervisor at the beginning of the appropriate term.
